Christy Martin is a consultant in Seattle, Washington. She specializes in all forms of pay and rewards, such as board of directors’ compensation, executive compensation, total pay strategy, group incentives, and broad-based incentives.

She works primarily with privately-held and family-owned companies. Many of her clients are aligning their pay approaches with their business strategy, restructuring, or integrating more effective performance management into existing approaches. She helps determine when new pay approaches are appropriate and how to make them work.

Christy has over 25 years of experience developing and implementing compensation strategies and programs. She works with a broad range of industries. Her clients include large and small organizations in various stages of growth, from start-up to maturity.

Christy holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from the University of Houston. She started her own company after serving over 10 years with two multi-national consulting firms.

In addition to her consulting, Christy organized the Seattle and Bellevue chapters of Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and has been active in advancing the recognition and business results of women-owned businesses. WPO is a national association of highly successful women entrepreneurs. She served two terms on WPO’s Board of Directors and 4 terms on the Advisory Counsel.
