Mike Bonner is currently the Head of Canadian Business Banking.
Mike joined the Bank in 2000. After advancing through various roles in Ontario, he was appointed to executive ranks in August 2007, serving first as District Vice-President, Nova Scotia. Subsequent executive appointments have been
- Regional Vice President – Commercial Banking GTA from 2010,
- Regional President – British Columbia & Yukon from 2014,
- Senior Vice President & National Head – Treasury & Payments from 2019,
- Appointed as Division Head for Canadian Business Banking June 2020.
As Head of Canadian Business Bank, Mike is responsible for both the Distribution and Headquarters functions within the line of business.
Mike obtained his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Dalhousie University, in addition to completing a Fellowship with the Institute of Canadian Bankers and an Advanced Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management.
