From Hive to High Rise: Blueprints for Leadership Brilliance; How to turn Compassion into Cash Flow in 100 Days

Wikipedia tells us that a honeybee colony contains three types of bees: the queen bee, worker bees, and drones. The queen bee is responsible for reproduction and survival of the hive. Worker bees perform various tasks, including caring for brood, foraging, and hive maintenance. Drones play a key role in genetic diversity by mating with the queen bee.

In a functioning hive, the queen is the leader; however, she does not do all the work, nor does she micromanage the tasks of the other bees. The bees all know their tasks and responsibilities, working together for the good of the hive. The queen may appear to be over everything, managing her role but not leading or inspiring the others.
